I'm finding this is a good "go-to" smoke for anytime. When I first tried it I thought it had too much tongue bite. Notes of vanilla and dark fruit will fill the room and, to a lesser extent, your pallet. Tounge-bite is minimal unless you're going for the choo-choo-train look. The tobacco smells nice in the pouch. But the taste and smell of the smoke is just great. It burns evenly with a good temperature. It also bites my tongue a little. It is an alkaloid present in the leaves of Nicotiana tabacom. It is colorless, highly volatile alkaloid. In large doses nicotine is highly toxic. Like many in that category, it is mild -- maybe because that is where every body starts off, at least in the states. It has a pleasant aroma and stands a good chance of being tolerated by non-smoking family members. I think the aromatic aspect of it is not overdone. It packs and burns well, and I personally have no problems whatsoever with it being too wet. For me, it smokes pleasantly down to a fine white ash. I find it enjoyable in the flavor category.
