Lane Limited Captain Black Original Regular

The Captain has circumnavigated the globe many times, and continues, by all accounts, to be the most sold blend in the world -- or at least in North America, I think. Why isn't this properly listed under Lane's products? After all, it is a Lane ltd. product. Because of all the goop the blend leaves behind, I refuse to smoke it in a briar, and instead only smoke the blend in a corncob. However I did find that it was very moist and I had to relight a couple of times. I did find that if you puff to much it will bite a bit. Since this is my first review here, I thought it best to review the first tobacco that I ever tried to smoke in a pipe. captain black tobacco Because now there's MP3's and streaming music on your smartphone!! Wood stoves suck because now there's central heat/AC with digital thermostats. And cameras and computers suck because your smartphone does it all with mobile Internet and a 12MP camera. I decided to get back to all of these and review them after all these years. That's all this pipe weed has going for it. If you like this genre, go with Decatur's Mild and Mellow or Blender's Gold Burley and Black. Not only are these blends far cheaper than the old Captain, they have a better flavor profile and are easy on the tongue. These blends do need a little air time but they are a worthy alternative.
I began smoking this as my first tobacco ever and it is the one I used to introduce some of my friends to pipe smoking. This is my all time favorite tobacco. Lights and burns very well with little to no bite.
