America's #1 Pipe Tobacco Captain Black Pouch White

It smokes very easily, is mild and smooth, and has a delicious vanilla/rum/clove/something flavor that gets better as you smoke it. I'm recommending this as opposed to highly recommending it because there's something a little insipid about it. I smoked a bowl of this last night, but was pretty buzzed. I have smoked it sober as a judge and it struck as a little insipid then, too. captain black tobacco It doesn't seek to impress it puts on no Showmanship it is just simple common pipe tobacco. The room Aroma is excellent it is very smooth & Mild as far as taste goes. It's affordability is almost unmatched for it's quality. It does have a tendency to leave the pipe a bit wet, it also tends to get a little bitter towards the end or if smoked too hot. It was extremely moist and burned hot producing tongue scorching steam. And for as sweet as it smelled in the pouch it had next to no flavor but it did have a pretty good room note.
I will admit this is the first mix I smoked. It can be blown out your nose and the aroma of the burning tobacco is pleasant for the smoker and non smoker alike. Most likely, but you will never guess what. Thought I'd try a popular drug store brand. Many straight virginia blends, and even some english blend are sweeter. I am not sure how old my pouch is, but the tobacco was very, very dry inside of it. Perhaps the seam broke, but it was still wrapped in plastic. Overall good smoke for what it is. For an extremely cheap tobacco that you can find at pretty much any drugstore or gas station i highly recomend for the poor smoker. This is going to be my new feild tobacco for long hikes in the woods. I'll always remember when I was young and my aunt and uncle would babysit me. My uncle would sit and puff away on this while he told me all about the glory days of the Yankees. I cherish those memories and every time I light up a bowl of this it takes me right back. It had a rather moist feel out of the pouch but a few minutes in open air prior to packing will remedy that.
